This mighty two million word, 2200-page tome is published by Bloomsbury as “a one-stop reference and interactive tool embracing all aspects of the world of work. It contains everything you need to know to be business-literate in the 21st century”. It’s a terrific book and I’m happy to have written a few articles which make up a tiny proportion of it (less than 1%). |

One recent customer for my locum editing service was the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSc), which managed to part company with both the editor and news editor of its monthly magazine Chemistry in Britain (since renamed Chemistry World). Dividing my time between the magazine's London office and my own office, I acted as news editor for three issues of the magazine during the summer of 2003, helping to maintain its standards and publication schedules while new staff were recruited. |
